Staying Warm

There haven't been many posts here recently, and well, that is simply because not much interesting has been going on here! Katie's been staying busy with work. It was an especially rough first couple weeks for her, but the last week has been a lot better. We're also starting to think about vacations through June 2009(!) because Katie must place her requests in 1.5weeks. And then there is the question of further training in a fellowship after residency which requires additional planning over the next 9 months. I've also been staying busy at work (though not compared to Katie!) and doing a little travelling; mostly to Baltimore where I've discovered I like awesome crab cakes. We had a special night on the town last night, having a nice dinner at a german restaurant and seeing the Blue Man Group which was very entertaining.

We have had a lull of visitors of recent, but this coming weekend we've got some friends coming who are willing to brave the cold! We are planning to take advantage of the wonderful indoor attractions we have nearby, namely the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.

Speaking of cold, we have discovered a new survival tool - a heated mattress pad! It is a heated paradise!
